Gold for Excellence in Blended Technology, CLO Awards

CLO Learning in Practice 2015 Gold Award

We are delighted to announce that we received a Gold for Excellence in Blended Technology at Sunday night's CLO Learning in Practice Awards ceremony for our work on Microsoft's sales enablement corporate MOOCs. In addition, our content partner for the first two of three courses of that program, global business school INSEAD, won a Silver for Excellence in Content.

"It is really satisfying to see our work on this program recognized, because it is a truly innovative approach to learning,” said Manjit Sekhon, Director of Learning Experience Design and chief architect of the learning experience for this program. “And personally, as an instructional designer, it has been a very exciting journey for me to learn a new way of building a great learning experience along the way, as we iterated and improved."

Adds Nicole Bunselmeyer, Principal Consultant, who spearheaded the overall vision for this program, “Learning has been siloed and compartmentalized for so long. Most of what’s referred to as 'blended learning' is still online learning over here, and an offline piece over there, and maybe collaboration done somewhere else. It was so great to see the vision that Microsoft, INSEAD and Intrepid had to go about learning in a different way, where blended learning means a holistic, integrated, fluid approach that can be implemented and iterated fast."

CEO Sam Herring, who was on hand in Austin, Texas for the awards ceremony along with VP of Marketing and Alliances Sanjay Advani, also notes, "It's a terrific recognition of the commitment, teamwork and real partnership of all three organizations. And the tangible results it has led to for Microsoft’s global salesforce are so exciting to see. Our congratulations to everyone who has worked and continues to work on this amazing program."
